Water Damage – Chicago Apartment
Water damage occurred at this Chicago apartment when a window in the dining room was blown out during a fierce thunderstorm. The apartment required special treatment to restore the wood flooring and significant drying to the drywall and baseboards. The contents of the room had also suffered minor water damage and they were transported to our facility for restoration services and to provide room to clean up the water damage in the dining area. Water extraction was required, followed by drying with commercial air movers and dehumidifiers. The wood flooring was resealed after treatment, and the walls and trim were repainted after drying. The family was incredibly grateful to have their gathering area returned to preloss conditions.
